I just had to post this up here .... should have been sooner but haven't had the chance. I was watching the Irish Grand National yesterday on RTE and was trying to listen to the interviews been given by Ladbrokes and the other people who were being interviewed. I was disgusted to see the tools in the back ground gestering, waving, on phones talking to friends saying look at me I'm great I'm on telly Eireann! and even some guy doing wanker signs. Fcuk sake its a disgrace that some people can be so immature and childish. You rarely see this sort of stuff on Channel 4 racing or any other sports coverage! Disgusted.

Are you just hacked off you weren't in Fairyhouse to get on camera having a quick moon and shouting "hello mammy!"?

It is annoying, but it's hardly exclusive to RTE.

Punters always swarm around John McCrirrick when he is on Channel 4 racing.

Its not funny when you are spotted by the camera at a match in Croke Park and you supposed to be working. This happened a friend of mine years ago. He got "cold shoulder" for a month from his wife.
    Cameras are dangerous.

Handily lessening the visually jarring auditory assault of Jabba McPrick.

Bollocks. I was watching Sky Sports News last week and the guy doing a piece to camera at Highbury had to move as there were a couple of lads behind him waving.

At Highbury? Was the camera crew lost, or time travelling?

you see that a lot on irish tv - even the news too at times.
but any station seems to get that when they film in a public place. sometimes there are more at it than others. never bothered me. but then, i read the subtitles, i dont hear the screams of 'howya mammy?!'
