    Just a tip really..

For those of you who are not a fan of Apple's multi-tasking, download zToggle in Cydia and you can disable it.

Opened TomTom on my 3GS today, left it open just to check an address, then "closed" / hid it again (even switched off Location services in SBSettings).. and it took 40% off my battery in 3 hours while running in the Background.

Maybe it's just TomTom that's affected but to be honest, I went years on an iPhone 2G without multi-tasking and it's not something I'll miss. The odd time I need multitasking, I prefer to use Backgrounder.

Anyways, just thought I'd let people know.

    I know.. it's bad, isn't it? :D

To be honest, I was never one who complained about the lack of multi-tasking.

But for what it's worth, I prefer Backgrounder. Not every apps supports it but I definitely prefer it.

Never tried Backgrounder (jailbreak ugh :pac: )

I think the multi-tasking implementation is great. Yes I do have to charge my phone every night but sure it would be just sitting there if I didn't have to.

Gotta jailbreak. Couldn't live without SBSettings for one!

With Backgrounder, you hold down the Home button when in an open app to send the app into the background. But problems come when you forget you've Backgrounder on, and you hold down the Home button again. And it closes all processes running in Background.
