Like these a4s and taking a friend to look at two tomorrow. They are both 1.9 tdi one is 01 and the other 03. Any advice on what they are like or on what to look out for would be appreciated. :o

Check if the timing belt was changed and when its due again.

Had a 04 myself and she was prone to electrical problems ie warning lights coming on when there was no problem...windows refusing to close.And the worst one was where the brake pad warning and blown lights warnings kept going on and off a week before the NCT.

Had a fuel injector go but luckily that was under warranty.

Apart from those things it was a great car:)

Try and get a 130bhp tdi if you can.
