Spent all day yesterday doin an all grain hefeweizen and cooled it to pitching temp over night. Pitched the starter at six before i headed into work and only just realised i for got to aerate it. I spent the last five minutes shakin the s**t outta the fermenter so hopefully all is well but hard to know.

Anybody screw up like this and if so how did things turn out?

Usually running the wort into the fermenter will give enough aeration

Yeah i was decanting through a pipe so there was no splashing + the wort was only just finished boiling at this stage so there was very little aeration. Once i shook it up after it cooled twas chuggin within an hour or two
