Got up yesterday morning and hopped into the car, then noticed that the wing mirror on the driver side was missing. Presumed it was knocked off, so got out of the car and looked around for it, all to no avail, so then i realised it was stolen. The wires were cut also.
Happened in the Dublin 16 area.
To say i was pissed off would be an understatement.
Anyone know of a decent place to get a 2nd hand wing mirror anywhere in Dublin. And has anybody else had a similar problem?

The make and model would be nice :)

You'll probably get robbed (again!), try looking online.

Thanks Wolve, i'll try to be more careful the next time.
Have done that, but wondering if anyone on here has a recommendation of decent places.

No I mean they will probably be very expensive if you look for a place to buy in Dublin :p

Put your make and model into Ebay and see what comes up. If you're unsure, try searching for a few breaker yards or "car dismantlers" on www.redbook.ie

there seems to be a fair bit of this going on around the country in recent times.
i've heard of three different cases in my area recently, people steeling low value wheels. maybe its got to do with the recession and the nct working in tandem.
