Outsourced payroll / yr end accounts

    Hi,

    We are a small limited (read very very limited) carpentry sub contracting company currently just about holding our own. I'm wondering what's the going rate per month for doing weekly payroll for approx 5-8 employees (it varies depending on how busy we are) Basically hours are emailed in on tuesday evening and payroll has to be completed and payroll summary & payslips emailed back by COB wednesday. Anyone know what would be a fair rate?

    Also, for year end accounts & audit whats the market rate for that? assuming a turnover of approx €250 K. Vat returns and any RCT subcontractors are done by myself. Would €4000.00 for this be about right?

    Is there a reason you're being audited - missed deadlines? This is adding to the costs.

    Yes, unfortunately we missed our deadline last year
