rev flat spot

My diesel mondeo has a very small rev flat spot around 1900 rpm. It only happens once the engine has warmed up and is not a big one, just a tiny pause as it climbs up the revs. No warning lights or flashing glow plug lights so i presume it's not an injector failure also the fuel economy is still great and no excessive black smoke. My question is this,

Should i take it to the garage as it's not bothering me, Will it cause a problem if i just choose to ignore it. I have heard that the injectors may need to be re coded to solve it as the the may be slightly out. Is this much of a job or just a software change for the ecu.
