I know there are threads about cheap flowers but what is the usual cost for brides bouquets, bridesmaids and the bouttonnieres.

Brides' bouquets seem to run €80 - €120
    Bridesmaids' bouquets from €40 up
    Bouttonnieres approximately €7 per piece

Of course it depends on the flowers chosen.

The best deal in Dublin I've found is bride's bouquet, 2 x bridesmaid bouquets, groom bouttonniere, 2 x groomsmen bouttonnieres, 3 x mothers' corsages and 3 x fathers' bouttonnieres for €240. I searched for a while though, and most estimates were well over the €400 mark.

Wow its not flipping cheap! Whats the name of the florist in Dublin?

    In Kildare I was given a price of €80 - brides, €60 bridesmaids, €10 - boutionnaires.

We have paid 165 for our flowers. Thats for the bridal bouquet, the button holes, and the flower arrangements for the church...

It's actually the lady in our parish who does the flowers for the church.. The priest who is marrying us recommended her.

I think those prices have come down. The florists in the small towns are struggling. you can negotiate with those. The cities with large foot-fall are more expensive.

I'm going with Best Buds, a local florist in Killester. They've been really flexible and friendly to deal with.

I also considered Precious Petals. If you email them pictures of what you're hoping for they can give you a quote. The quote I received was much lower than those shown on their website (I have simple tastes!).

    Good luck :)
