Netbook not connecting to mobile broadband dongle

    My Advent netbook will no longer connect to ny mobile broadband USB dongle. Netbook is running Win XP Home Edition.

    - The dongle works fine on another PC
    - I have tried another dongle from the same operator on the netbook but no luck either
    - The software will install but I just get a message saying 'No Device'


    Any ideas?

    I usually get that message if I put the dongle in after booting up so I tired having the dongle plugged in before starting my netbook and it works that way.

    Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the software/drivers?
