I put in a freesat box and dish for the brother the weekend. Worked fine. then put in a small uhf aerial. got the Irish channels fine. Then when I attempted to view the freesat channels the picture was all over the shop. After 20mins of head scratching I removed the aerial cable from the tv and freesat channels were then fine. It's one of them old bulky tv's. Is it always the case with the old tv's that satellite and aerial signals will intefere like this?
    Thanks in advance.

You need to change the rf out frequency of the free sat box to something that the aerial channels aren't using, then re-tune the tv to find the free sat box.
Or just use a scart if the tv has a scart socket.
