    Link

I like it. I'm not sure people will get it though considering the predilection for the Germans in Ireland. It baffles me why many would prefer a boggo spec 3 series to one of these which, potentially, looks like an interesting addition to the market.

The hybrid is shaggin' awesome! Electric motors driving the rear wheels providing 37bhp/143 lb ft. The front wheel drive 2.0l diesel gives 163 bhp and 221 lbs ft.

A little switch makes them both work together ala Ford Focus RS hybrid.
Check out the cabin......... seriously want one.

Large French Hatchbacks have always gone down so well in Ireland.

There was a time when you couldn't move for Safrane's and Vel Satis's.......................

In fairness you could say the same for many German cars of recent years. The E, ML, C and A classes spring to mind. As do the Beemer turbo diesels, Passats, Golf MIV, the previous gen Polo, 2.0TDI engines etc, the supercharged/turbo engines...I think overall that the Germans are overrated for reliability and vice versa for the French. It sure is hard to beat a stereotype though...be they negative or positive.

I was a bit tongue in cheek with my statement, I know in general they are much better cars these days.
I have to say though I think the VAG cars in general are hugely overrated.

Nothing disappoints quite like a Volkswagen.
