Holy **** I've the worst case of the F.E.A.R. ever, when i do manage to sleep I'm having crazy vivid nightmares about being stabbed. Wide awake now I'm afraid o the dark now at this stage I keep thinking there is someone in the corner of my room looking at me. I'm ****ing 27 afraid of the dark WTF. An absolutely debauched weekend is coming back to punish me!!!!

Any body else out there the same?????

The fear is the most awful consequence of a heavy weekend. The physical effects of a hangover are fine but this irrational over-the-top general anxiety is crippling.

I've spent all today lying in bed essentially not even able to talk/look at anyone. Anyone any tips on how to overcome it? I know prevention is better than cure but how come i've only started getting it from the age of 22 onward?

You've just answered your own question. Other than that, it'll pass but you have to just hang in there. At least if you know it's just anxiety, you'll know nothing 'bad' is actually happening.

But yes, at 22, you're inordinately young to be suffering the Fear.

The "fear" is basically the DTs. With it being a bank holiday weekend I'd imagine there's been quiet a few people in this state lastnight. I wasn't though :cool:
