    6 inches of snow in the middle of June in the UK in 1973 apparently

    Snow predictions being pushed out into June in the other now locked thread doesn't seem so mad after watching that. If it happened once....

    Interesting to note that was made in 2009, before the last two snowy winters. The general conclusion of the programe went something like 'snowy winters in the UK (or IIRC they actually said Europe ?) are becoming rarer and rarer and may soon be a thing of the past', and the only way to see snow might be by travelling abroad. I'd hazard a guess they might be of a different opinion now.
