I'm on the way home so I'm not watching it yet but love him or hate him as a magician(I'm the former myself) his documentary's last year were great viewing and I think the one on C4 tonight could be well worth a look. I think it started at 9 so C4+1 will have it in 20min.

I apologise I don't have the actual name of the show as the title I'll edit it when I get a chance but from what I gather he goes undercover in the states of those faih healing churches.

This could turn out to be his most interesting work yet. Very, very intense.

I really hope he pulls it off-its the least contrived show of Derren browns yet

I just turned it on, looks like it's going to be great. Will it be available on the c4 site later?

So was it good? I got held up and won't get a chance till tomorrow to see it.

I actually think he is 50 times better at this kind of thing then the very weak hero at 50,000 feet show.

Although, his live shows are great for anyone interested.

I used to not like Derren Brown, but enjoyed the show. Wish they had done it over a few episodes though and was a it bit more intense..it was 6 months they spent prepping Nathan, and only 7 days in the US.

I also would have like to have heard from the pastor who attended the revival and to see Derren Brown tackle some of the more prominent faith healers who visit the UK regularly..

    Worth a watch, for sure.

Excellent watch, very interesting. Fair play to "Pastor James", he played the part very well and apart from the odd slip of the tongue he seemed to be very believable.

I enjoyed that but it did seem like an anticlimax at the end. I'd like to have got audience feedback at the end. I think they were upset and disillusioned rather than enlightened.

I'd have liked that myself, but I think they would have turned on him massively once they fully grasped what he was saying. We're talking riots here. People don't like being pawns...even if it IS for a greater good.

I loved the ending where they went back to the other guy's sermon. It really brought the whole documentary full circle.

    "you can't say 'it's fu@king unbelievable near a bongo player'"..made me giggle..

I enjoyed that. Good show....altho I did find it a little sanctimonious in parts - they went on a little too much about how they were doing all this just for the poor innocent people getting hurt by the con-men! It doesn't achieve anything for them unless it's shown in the bible belt states of the US....and if the previous revelations highlighted in the program didn't make them cop-on, this wouldn't do it either!

    Good show though!

Oh man I was physically cringing and covering my eyes through this whole show, like in bits where Nathan was doing his practice performances, and when he was doing that group prayer circle with the people handing out his flyers, and also any time he was talking with "real" preachers. I just felt so embarrassed for the innocent people believing him[didn't care bout the scammers], and for him having to put on such a performance.:o

That being said, I must add that "Pastor James" is a beaut and kept me watching!:p

Check out his website, it's hilarious reading it after watching the show.
