    Hi there,

I'm moving up to Dublin and hopefully in with friends to Ranelagh.

I'll be working in Boots in parkwest and I'm wondering about the commute? Does anyone know is there a bus link between Ranelagh and Parkwest or even if I got the luas int St Stephens Green is there another transport link available to get to Parkwest? I tried looking up Dublin Bus timetable but as I'm not too familiar with Dublin I'm left more confused then ever.

Thanks for your time and hopefully your help and advice

There are several options for getting to/from Parkwest:
    1) Dublin Bus route 79a from Aston Quay
    2) A private bus from Aston Quay
    3) LUAS Red line to Kylemore stop and private bus to Parkwest
    4) Train from Heuston

Check out the link below for more info:

From that link that lxflyer provided, you will see mention of the 18 bus route

    http://www.parkwest.ie/transport/comm_gettingbydbus1.asp

the 18 actually operates via rathmines to kylemore and avoids the city centre. It brings you to the kylemore luas stop where you can then use the private bus or you can get off at the gala centre then get a 79a to parkwest.
