Dual-band and tri-band

I recently bought a Sony Ericsson Spiro for €30. The phone is dual-band (uses the 900MHz and 1800MHz frequencies) which is fine for Europe. However, I'm moving to Canada which uses 1900MHz frequency so I'll need a tri-band phone. Is there any way of upgrading my phone to tri-band? If so, would it be financially worthwhile considering my phone was only €30to begin with? Perhaps I'll just buy a phone over there...

You can't. Don't buy a phone here. Buy one in Canada.

    Looking @ rogers.com

    Nokia 2720 - 50€ - same as here
    Nokia C3 - 64€ - 36€ cheaper than here.

Easier for warranty purposes etc to get one over there, especially if it's going to be a long term thing.
