I thought it was a Good article at first but then I realised the writer is called Jim Goad, not Jim Good. That red writing is a bit hard to read.

Red hair is traditionally associated with being Jewish, and we all know how open and non-judgemental people are towards the Jewish faith.

Well I thought it was good, but I enjoy American football.

Who (among sports nerds) would have thought that ginger QBs had won ten Super Bowls with blacks winning only one?

Black athletes dominate football and basketball, but what's with the white lad's success in the QB position?

Growing up in Australia, anyone with red hair was given the nickname 'Blue'. it wasn't until I moved to London in my late 20s that I realised how much stick people with red hair got. I don't remember kids being picked on for having red/orange hair.

It really is awful to think kids are bullied over it or made to feel like some kind of freak

Do you reckon that's the case? I'd say redheads get it as bad here as they get in anywhere.

I like american football too. None of those 'gingers' are ginger.

White quarterbacks probably dominate the position for a number of reasons, but there are plenty of black quarterbacks. It is an interesting point, but writing a few thousand words about red haired people and ending your article with a token sentence about that does not an interesting article make.

And Andy Dalton will wear a helmet while he plays, so I'm guessing no one will give a flying f**k about his hair colour, even if it somehow was a problem.

I think Ireland is terrible for the bullying of people with red hair. We recently had a thread in tLL where nearly every single poster who was bullied was bullied because of their hair colour. It's not funny, it's horrible and disgusting and like Sunflower said, what kind of a person would make another person feel like a freak for having a certain colour hair?

Because people are as$holes and hair is somethgin that stands out, anythign that makes people stand out from the norm will attract attention.

Well, the article is pretty stupid in fairness! Apology accepted though

If you want a genuine discussion about black players, AH is most defintely the wrong place.

Thought this was a bit more of an interesting story than the redheads myself.
