entering a phrase into google images and getting a graphic image back

I think all graphic images should be taken down from google images. Before i have entered "machete" but found an undesirable crime scene. Another time I typed in protests and found a person dead on the floor with his insides visible, same with "cluster bombs". BTW these searches are done under "strict" setting, so they shouldn't be shown.

Now, I am looking up "brain" but don't want to go into google search because I know i'll see another image of a fella with his brains hanging out his skull from a gunwound. (under strict setting) What do people think should be done? There is no way this should be happening.

    I agree totally.

Cooked up some alphabet soup the other day and my 5 yr old son had spelt out the words Féck, Wánk, Shít, and Arsé on his plate.

These products need to be banned NOW before the country is ruined.

Have you set safe search to strict?

If you don't want a graphic image stay away from searching for "machete clusterbombs brains"

Try instead one of the following:
    rainbow
    pineapple
    wallpaper
    smile
    sunshine
    unicorn

How do you recommend google takes these images down?

Do they analyse every image from the entire internet and decide which ones are bad?

Or do they take a Chinese government approach and only allow approved images?

Either way you are talking WAY too much man hours for a free service.

Also, remember, you are not entitled to google. If you don't like it, stop using it

Don't worry OP, I just googled 'brain' and it looks safe enough to me.

Then again I also googled 'protest' and 'machete' and didn't find anything like what was described in the OP

Alphabet soup should be banned? :P swear words are everywhere, not just the internet. If you think the internet is to blame for your son's vulgarity then I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to keep him from it

Barenaked Ladies was an impossibly hard band to find online when I was growing up. Kept getting distracted by the other results.

In college, I once needed to find a picture of the 'entertainer' Adele King (I can't remember why I needed it, but it seemed important at the time). In a busy computer room, I typed her stage name into Google Images. The rest, as they say, is (presumably logged in the browser's) History.
