Improving Eyesight

Hi, I am 17 and recently had to get glasses because I could not see the board in school. If I reduced the amount of time I am on the computer and practiced long distance focusing. Is there any chance I could regain my long distance vision? I only have to wear my glasses when looking at the board, other than that my vision is fine. But I would like to no problems. So is there anyway I can get my long distance vision back?

    Thanks,
    Adam

There is a thing in the states called Visual therapy that is supposed to be good. I've long meant to check it out but there are only a handful of people offering it in Ireland and none are near me. As to whether it works or not I don't know but I would give it a go if I could. As I understand it its basically physiotherapy for your eye muscles. But I could be wrong

You might consider me a bit biased thou since I pretty much consider standard optometry as a medieval art - which it is. surely we can do better in this day and age.

Stand beside a window and look at the glass then look at something miles away then look at the glass again and so on.

This is an exercise for eyes, suppose to be good. Give it a go for awhile and see do you notice an improvement.
