Concrete floor - how long to dry?

    Just poured 100mm of concrete sub floor in our new build - am ideas on how long it will take to be dry enough in order to put insulation, UFH & screed on top?

    4months if you were putting a floor covering on directly ,but fot what you,re doing 6 weeks should be fine

    Concrete takes 28days to cure to about 85% of it's full strength, for what you want I would leave it the 28 days.

    It will be very "chopable" for about 7 days so no dragging scaffold poles over etc.

    Will see how it is after 4 weeks - the heat it gives out in a weathertight building is amazing

    keeping it moist while curing for the first while in this weather will reduce the risk of minor cracks
