Hi! 19 year old male here trying to get over sexual abuse.
I found a web site and started chatting with the founder. He seemed okay and nice at first added him on facebook. Chated to him for ages.He was nice. Every so often he tried to talk sexual to me and started asking me was I hard etc. I said once I was and we kind of talked about sex. Then he suggested that we go on a chatroom/ I was kind of reluctant. So I did but covered my web cam. So he couldn't see me. I sent him a picture tough. So I said my web cam was broke and he believed me. He then preceded to wa*k on the video! Was this inappropriate of him? He said sorry and he was just feeling horny!

chatroom founders are not medical professionals. In fact, they're rarely professionals of any sort! Just some perv with a server, really....

This man is not in any position of authority. And you are an adult. So he sees you as fair game.

Try to find better people to trust in future. Not faceless people online. Have you spoken to a professional about your issues?

No!
I haven't spoken to a professional.

You need to learn who you can trust. It's very important. A stranger online.. a guy in a trenchcoat... someone offering you sweets from a van... they're all dodgy as f***!

Stop seeing yourself as a boy who was abused. I'll just repeat the bit where I said "You're an adult".

View yourself as a man who suffered a confusing and traumatic event & try to find a professional who you can talk it over with and act on his advice.
Everyone goes through something in life that sucks. But how you react to it will define you as a man.

Sorry, can we rewind for a minute! This website...Was it one made for supporting victims of abuse? If so you need to report this person to the police because this guy is bad news.

If it's not...my advise to you is not to look for answers with something as serious as this online. Maybe 'talking to a professional' seems unnecessary to you or something you simply don;t want to do, but this is not a road you want to go if you're trying to recover.

You should look into therapy, talking to someone face to face about that is massive step in the healing process.

Good Luck

Is the abuse you refer to, this incident istelf - or is there abuse you were trying to deal with previously, and went on this site looking for help?

I'm a bit confused, could you clarify OP?

As per that big sticky at the top of the forum:

NOTE ON SUSPECT THREADS / TROLL POSTS.

If you haven't already done so, please take the time to read the forum rules in the charter.

Many thanks.

Well okay...If this is genuine or if someone else is seeking help on this issue, the moral of the story is to meet a professional about this.

OP, could you give us the name or web address of this support site, can you do that?
