    hey all,

i went on a spin today to rosslare, just before new ross around 2pm i was diverted off the main road onto a country road, with no road signs i followed a camper van and got to new ross,
on the way home after 4, again i was diverted off the main road, i then took a turn back on to the main road and felt bloody terrible when i drove right up to the scene of a crash (assuming it was fatal), again i was sent off the main road,
plenty of roads with grass in the middle, and 13ft brigdes so if a truck was diverted this way he was in trouble, and loads of trucks on this road coming/going for ferry

i later found out the crash was a single vehicle accident with one person in hospital,

the road was closed as far as i can tell for 5 hours or more for a single vehicle crash is this not a bit extreme??
i can understand the gardai have a job to do but this seems a bit mad,
i completly guessed my way back to the main road,
    sorry for the long post:o
there must be something more to this?
