    Cabinteely to Brittas Bay and back?

    Anyone got any good cheap private bus companies?

    If you are hiring it all for yourself / your own group, most of the companies would give you a rate for the day / half-day.

    From Cabinteely to Brittas Bay the real cost is getting to and from Cabinteely, vehicle use, driver's time, cleaning, etc. The actual fuel element of the distance from Cabinteely to Brittas Bay and back is relatively modest.

    Most coaches carry 48-53 passengers. However, there are different sizes and standards and that will affect cost. Any old interior or leather seats, wi-fi, TV, full air-conditioning and complimentary drinks. Does it need a toilet? Will you require a guide? With foreign languages?

    Just phone around. The cheapest are likely to be those either local or un-busy. Day of the week will also be a factor. Dublin Bus might be quite cheap if the trip is after 10am and back before 4pm.

    Full day, standard 50 odd seater coach, is around the 300 euro mark to hire. This is based on my experience with reputable companies. The price is for a coach and driver. Any other requirements may add to the cost.

    used him a few times for our scout group, usually does decent prices but the driving can leave a little to be desired (not dangerous mind, just interesting)
