What are the best names of bands or albums that you've heard. I think 'Rum, Sodomy and the Lash' by the Pogues has to be one of the best album titles ever.

"When the pawn hits the conflicts he thinks like a king
What he knows throws the blows when he goes to the fight
And he'll win the whole thing 'fore he enters the ring
There's no body to batter when your mind is your might
So when you go solo, you hold your own hand
And remember that depth is the greatest of heights
And if you know where you stand, then you know where to land
And if you fall it won't matter, cause you'll know that you're right"

Fiona Apple certainly has a nack for catchy album titles. :pac:

Here's one I really dont get...

An Irish band in the 1980's decides to call itself after an american aeroplane: U2

Fair enough. It worked well for them.

But what the hell were Bell X1 thinking? That it would be funny to also name themselves after an american aeroplane?

Whats next a band from Cork called the 747's? What the hell is this obsession with US jet planes?
