Couple of examples, Undercovers....aired 11 episodes, two unaired.
    Lonestar....2 aired 4 not, Paul Reiser Show....like 11 :p

Do they wait for DVD release or on cable/international markets?
I wouldn't mind seeing the unaired stuff, even the axed The Beautiful Life had it's 3 unaired episodes shown on YT.

I know Joey was cancelled with 4 eps left. They were then shown on German TV as part of the series.

They were also shown on RTE as part of the series, but at a later date. There was a break of about 6 weeks iirc

I often wonder this. Did anyone see the last episodes of The Knights of Prosperity?

Sometimes they seem to show up when the episodes get repeated on some cable channel, which could be a few months. Didn't something like that happen with "Firefly"?

The two unaired episodes of Eastwick were shown in the UK and Australia. The old 2000 series "Oppiste Sex" aired five episodes, Canada showed the last three, C4 showed all 8 a year later. Keen eddie....Fox only broadcast 8 (out of order), Sky show all 13 in sequence.

I remember the end of 'The Nine' was only available from Swedish TV for ages. Not sure if it eventually aired anywhere else.

The entire series aired, have all the series on multiple drives and computers for fear that one may fail and I would lose it all. Really hoping for a DVD release at some stage.

There is really no such thing as an unaired episode. While an entire series may not run on it's home channel they will almost always air elsewhere, with many networks choosing to burn off failed series in the early hours of the morning.

Didn't they/don't they put the unaired episodes of some series on Hulu? No good for us Europeans however.

I think they usually end up on some obscure cable network a few months later or on rte at 3am on a thursday night:D

If your very lucky, they might end up eventually on the last dvd boxset.
