I am nearly 17 years old and I have found a website that i would like to buy sports gear from Pro Direct Soccer. Heres my problem though, Neither one of my parents has a credit card for buying things online and i would rather have my own way of buying stuff. So I'm Wonering is there any Credit/ Pre Paid Debit cards out there for somebody under 18.
    Thanks in advance.

Visa Debit cards are only issued (at the moment) with Ulster Bank and Permanent TSB, and Bank of Ireland in the future (don't know how long that will be).

You can open an Ulster Bank Adapt account (under 18 account), and you will get a Visa Debit card (which is like a Laser card in that the money is debited [subtracted] straight from your account, and you can only spend money that you have in your account) but it's Visa, which is better than Laser as it can be used online and in different countries - it is also your ATM card. Permanent TSB probably have an equivalent under 18 Bank account.

I got one when I was 17. Definitely a better choice than 3V (prepaid Visa vouchers) and other alternatives as there are no fees, apart from €5 a year Government Stamp Duty (€2.50 for ATM usage, €2.50 for debit card usage).

There is the O2 option as suggested, there is also the shopping center gift card. If you live near a shopping center have a look at their gift card, if it has a mastercard logo on it then it can be used as a regular credit card, though you will need to get a new card everytime you want to use it and will not be able to top it up.

As its a debit card and you can't spend anymore than you have on it, just get a parent to buy it for you.

No, you don't need to be an o2 customer.

I would but I have heard that there are extra charges for it and i'd like the most cost effective option i can as long as i can put up to 150 quid on it at once.
