Normally I would be one to say no smoke without fire, but this really has just come from nowhere and I am so confused as to why?! I found out yesterday that a fairly bad rumour is going around about me! It's just so pathetic!!

Aparently, I am sleeping with a guy in my apartment block. One of the other girls has told loads of people he was in my flat for hours the other day and we were sleeping together. Yes, he was in my flat, playing cards, with me, my housemates and his friend!!

Its not so bad for me, I've said before I am out foreign and I dont plan on stayin in this town for long. But he is from here, and is actually gone to Ireland because he is engaged to an Irish girl, who is pregnant. He has talked to me a fair bit, but mostly asking questions about Ireland and saying how excited it is to become a dad.

I just really dont know why this girl, who barely knows me by the way, has gone out of here way to spread this?! To be honest I thought we were friends guess I was wrong.

Any one else ever dealt with someone like this?

anyone listening to her with half a brain will know him being at your house does not equal you sleeping with him.

She's got some axe to grind, maybe she liked him, maybe she dislikes you, maybe she's just a troublemaker, it really doesn't matter.

The truth is all it takes is a few careful invites to the card games you organise from your fellow housemates to your friends in the flat block (whose opinion you actually care about because you surely don't give two cents about all of them right?). They'll know the story without you having to give her the satisfaction of knowing it bothers you.

The truth is noones going to believe and if they do they're probably just troublemakers as well.

Well, I think a lot of people in this town would believe it. But tbh I dont really care I am leaving here in a few weeks and I doubt I will ever see any of these people again.

The only person I am concerned about hearing the rumour is the pregnant fiancee, as I said she has gone home to Ireland to have the baby. He is gone there now as she is due in a few weeks but I think it would be an awful thing for her to hear. Just hope that she wouldnt believe it!!
