Calf biting at cows teats

    We have a 5 month old pedigree calf that were trying to put on a fresian cow. the calf is mad to suck and the cow didnt mind it until today. shes 's kickin at it now and when i examined her bag, there is all scabs on her teats. is there any way to stop it biting at the cow.
    Any help apreciated,

    Scabs or cuts?! id try milking her out and applying Cheno Unction it seems to soothe and moisturise/cool the teats. even when he sucks it off it seems to remain in cracked areas etc and deinitely helps

    You could try letting him in for a good suck couple of sucks a day for a while, not giving calf time to bite/pug/chew on teats and after sucking apply cheno unction
