Ultra Portable laptop with ubuntu

    Hi

I'm looking to buy an 11.6 laptop which I'll run ubuntu on.

I previously had a dell xps 1330 which was v. compatible due to Dell Germany having an ubuntu release - but the build quality was awful. I was looking at Lenovo but I have heard the Ideapads (the U160 was what I was looking at) has all sorts of problems. I would like the lighter laptop but could go up to 13.3 if it was not too heavy.

Any thoughts? I have big chubby fingers :-) so keyboard quality is relevant as well as general build quality but won't be doing much more than watching vids / skyping and general office stuff.

I assume finding a new laptop without windows pre-installed is not possible but do want to make sure I am not compiling my own kernel to get wifi etc.to work (which is what I've seen on forums about the lenovo machine).

Sorry if this should be in laptops.
