    I was just wondering if anything is done if you miss like a week and a half of trinity term before your exams? Someone i know in UCD is getting his marks bumped up because he's been sick..I've missed over a week now because of being sick..can I do anything? I've done real well all year, and I'm not going to fail or anything, but if I could make up the marks i've missed from being sick...

    Contact your tutor immediately.

    If appropriate, your tutor should write to the Senior Lecturer on your behalf.

    But make sure you have medical certificates for your periods of illness. The Senior Lecturer will not make any ruling in your favour unless appropriate medical certificates have been supplied.
