    Hi,

I was wondering if there are pitches in Dublin South that are as good as Loughlinstown LC?? ie, decent size goals and a net to stop the ball from leaving the playing area??

I believe LLC is closing for 2 months this summer so need to find an alternative venue. Did play at Monkstown but its a nightmare when the ball goes over the fence.

There is a better pitch close the Loughlinstown at St Laurence College. It doesnt have netting on top but the fences are pretty high.

Clondalkin leisure center has four 6 a side pitches with a netting around them, the goals are sunk into the surround so ball pretty much always in play unless someone has an 'ave it' moment

Pitches are brutal up there anyway , like playing on a lumpy carpet ,

Of all the pitches I have played on , Clondalkin Leisure centre is miles ahead of the rest.

Although the first pitch on left hand side is poor its multi sports not Astro but the other 3 are top notch and you will find it handy enough getting a spot with the football season over.
