I think you're being a bit too vague there.

Learn to bootstrap. If you need an office get one dirt-cheap, office share if you have to. Then take on interns from gradireland.com and use free online software and programmes.

I've no idea what your business idea is but bootstrapping in the early days will really stand to you later on, you will be much more prudent and when the next bust comes along you'l have the experience to know how to manage it. Postpone all but the absolutely essential payments (don't register the limited company for example, just carry on as a sole-trader for as long as possible until you bring in revenue). Avoid investors until you can clearly show revenue coming in.

As far as expertise is concerned, thats pot-luck. You might find talented interns, but if you want someone that can guide you in business then I wouldn't hold my breath. Thats down to the whim of the Gods. None of the government egancies provide quality guidance to young Irish entrepreneurs, you really have to know someone that can hold your hand. If you are worth your salt you won't need much hand-holding, you' pick most of it up yourself. But someone giving you a little boost and steering you clear of their own mistakes is aways vauable. I'm very lucky to have had that, but it was pure pot-luck, it doesn't happen usually.

    Good luck OP:)

    HI SWAMPIE
What I mean is I have what I consider and know to be a super buisness idea simple but, and its a big but, It does need intensive research and development to bring it to the next level and considerable cash though not all at once. Every country in the developed world will want and need average 500,000 some multiples of this product. So without R&D i feel it will be far too expensive thus reducing its true potential. Selling the idea was considered but as I see this as my kids future as well as my own, I gracefully declined. Our own E.I. I feel are still in their Ivory towers at it were. Nothing moves fast in there it seems. Polite and courtious but little else.Thought that bringing in an accountant, marketing IT person and perhaps a mechanical engineer would be a possible option??????????? What do you think !!!:D:):cool:
