Today I washed, clayed, polished and waxed my car, was well needed.

The process was: Wash -> Clay car while still wet -> Wash -> Dry -> Cup of tea :D ->Polish -> Wax.

Done the polishing and waxing by hand as I dont have a machine polisher so well and truly knackered.

    Anyway, onto the pics:

    The supplies:

And the bowler kept me company :p

The Victim (complete with oxidized paint, bird shíte and swirls in paint:

What do you folks think? I'm very happy with the results anyway. Now time for a cold one ;)

    All cleaning products came from

    http://myworld.ebay.ie/monzacarcare/?_trksid=p4340.l2559

    Under the brand Dodo Juice.

I heard a lot about the brand and gave it a shot and really paid off :)

As far as I know cleancar.ie sell the products as well.

Anyone else think that the Opel and 406 coupe share a definite similar look?

There is a slight difference but the pictures are poor, they seem blurred

I'm sure the car looks 100 times better in the metal, it can be hard to get good pics sometimes.

I put some of that silicone tyre shine from Halfords on the tyres after washing the car recently (for the first time). I noticed the following morning the outline in the tarmac, its not harmful to the tarmac just blackens it like the tyres, next time your in the shops or somewhere else spray the tyres with it and it will dry after about 20mins - half an hour depending on how heavy your spray it on, and you wont have weird stains in your own driveway!

Yeah the pictures aren't the best, was fairly wrecked so just snapped some quick ones and put the car away.

I'll try and get out tomorrow when there actually is sun and try get a few better ones.

Great job OP. I wish i had the patience. Patience for such matters gets worn down round here with all the muddy roads etc. When i pull into the carpark in work i am always amazed at how clean Dublin cars are, compared to those outside the Pale. Thats a lotta work!

Best part of 6 hours with about 15 minutes of a break

Ha..better let my arm recover from all the movement it got today. My Dad said the same thing when he saw it :p And his car would need a hammer and chisel to get the dirt off it!
