[HELP] Corrupt account Win 7 Home Premium

    Hi Guys,

    My cousin just dropped in her laptop for me to fix/look at although I have to admit I'm not all that knowledgeable about with Win 7. She gets an error when trying to log into her account:

    The user profile service service failed the logon.
    User profile cannot be loaded.

    From some googling it seems that the account config files have been corrupted so windows is trying to logon with an account using an SID it cannot locate. I tried following the article below but with no joy:

    I tried the MS Fix It which ran correctly but didn't fix the issue. I can log into the problem account when in safe-mode but cannot create a new user account to transfer to. I cannot activate the in-built admin user from the command line (System Error 5) . I also cannot run the command box as admin as it tells me it cannot find cmd.exe yet it runs it fine as a normal user. Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Boot the pc with trinity rescue kit and unlock the admin acc.
