    hi does anyone know how long it would take for a mechanic to replace it ?

    I think the book time is between 4 and 4.5 hours.

    More info, timing belts are specific to engine, not car.

    Diesel, petrol? 1.6? 3.2?


    Whichever engine it is, specific tools are required to change the belts so if the mechanic doesn't have them then don't let him do it!

    About 3 hours to do the belt on the twin sparks as far as I remember.
