    where are you located?

A couple of liters of Tescos finest 49c cola will do a good job on it ;)

I'm in Dublin, you know anywhere good,

Is the coke really a good idea, have you done it before?
I assume you don't run the car with it in, it couldn't be good for the water pump.
do you take the rad out and just fill it up?
How long you let it sit?

    Thanks for the reply,

Caustic soda added to water if its really bad but be warned, this is a very severe mix and will find any weakness in the rad. Also take out the rad first and flush it out with water after "treatment". Caustic soda is a dangerous chemical so care is needed and add it to water and not the other way round.
I am not responsible if you dissolve your rad.

Dissolve my radiator! That sounds like a great idea hahaha,
    Only joking,

Have you ever done it yourself, did you have any problems with it,
I didn't have any problems with overheating today, I was ragging it pretty hard up the mountains yesterday when it overheated and the weather was scorching hot so might just see how I go for now, thanks everyone for your help,
