I'd go for the limo, Simmentals are great to eat and eat, if you are finishing cattle you should have 1 simmental in every pen, they'll clean out the troughs of any scraps that other cattle leave behind!:pac:

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

You should choose based on your finished product. Do you sell your weinlings and if so are they being bought for export? If so, then the exporters will favour limousin calves. Also, what type of cows have you got? If you run a lot of black cows that aren't limousin breeding then a limousin bull will bring mousy coloured calves off them which will be less in demand at selling time. But if you have limousin, Chaorlais, simmental, Belgian blue or any other bright coloured cows, then a limousin bull will bring bright coloured calves and these will be in better demand if you are selling them as weinlings.

Rocky is a good bull. Easy enough calving and good muscle on calves. However, in my experience, heifers bred off Rocky are usually lacking in milk. So if you are hoping to keep heifers off him for breeding in the future, he might not be the best option.

I put limousin on most of my heifers so there is no reason why you will have to ai your heifers if you buy a limousin bull.
