Boots Points Dilemma!

Hi lads, so I have thirty quid in boots points and am unsure what to spend them on. Option one is a pair tweezerman tweezers and option two is to hold out for another while and get my Dior Addict perfume. Just wondering if tweezerman tweezers are worth ten times the price of boots brand ones. Thanks :)

hmmmm, I've had TWO tweezermans now (lost 1st and cant say I'm majorly impressed especially given the price...would also like to know if Boots brand any good...

    (sorry not much help :)

I have Tweezerman tweezers too, I definitely don't think they're worth the money! I vote perfume :) You could get a midrange slanted tweezer that would be just as good - I've heard these ones are brilliant: Mister Mascara tweezers

Awh, I was hoping they'd be good!
Boots brand tweezers do the job, I've got a high pain threshold though.
I've heard great things about Mister Mascara too!

Hold out for the perfume... Well that's what I'd do!

I love my tweezerman, best tweezers ever :) I remember mine only costing about €20 though.

I think I will hold out for the perfume. I think. God, I'm terrible at decisions.

I'm not taking any responsibility for my actions if they have the tweezermans with the pretty pattern on 'em.

I really like my Tweezerman tweezers they're great.

I have the normal slanted ones and then the travel size slanted. I actually prefer the travel one as I think I get more control with it because it's shorter and I can hold it better. That one was cheaper as well no way it was more than 15 euro anyway so you could try that :)

I have a pair of Tweezerman tweezers (bought them with my Boots points too funny enough!) and I don't see anything special about them at all. I have a pair I bought in Superdrug for about €3 or €4 (own brand) and find them much better.

That's that then! Perfume it is :)

I have heard so many people raving about Tweezerman tweezers and IMO they are not worth the money at all and I don't see what all the hype is about - I have Manicare ones that are much better, and much cheaper! Definitely hold out for the perfume ;)

If you want good tweezers get the penneys ones. they're 1.50 for 2 and I've never had a better tweezers. And I've bought some expensive ones!

    Oh no! The dilemma re-opens!
    Blusher or perfume?
    Life is hard :L

I only wish I was as good as you at letting my points build up! I usually get up to about 8 euro and then decide I'll just buy a moisturiser or something! :(

I really love Benefit so I'd go for Benefit, and blusher-wise, Coralista. It's lovely. Oh, and it smells good too... so hey, best of both worlds! :)

I actually shot up from twenty quid to thirty because of the double points vouchers and that :)

Coralista is so gorgeous, never knew it had a scent! I'm going to look like such a weirdo at the counter, sniffing the blushers :L

I have had two pairs of tweezererman tweezers and they are not a patch on the ones that come with the urban decay eyebrow powder! They are the best tweezers ever!

Can you use your points on perfume, like say the perfume is €60 and you €30 in points or can you only pay by points in one transaction?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,069 ✭✭✭musical.x

i think you have to pay with either one or the other. like if the perfume is 60€ then you have to have 60€ worth of points on your card :) you cant do half and half.

    This is so.

    Annoying as hell though.

Ugh, I thought as much. I'm not even in the country anymore so I'll just have to use my points on something else!

You think you're getting a deal but they're making money out of you someway!

Yeah, you can't pay in part with points, you have to have the full amount on your card. Silly billies.
