    Ok,
Did a compression test on my little rover 25 today.
    Results were as follows

    1 - 11 bar
    2 - 9 bar
    3 - 6 bar
    4 - 0 bar

Obviousy these are not the readings I was hoping for.
Is this something I can get sorted or am I loking at a new engine ?

Valves possibly broken on cylinder 4. Rings etc could be gone on all of them too. I'd say a new engine it is. What type of engine/car is it anyway?

You will be looking at getting the valved re-ground and reseated at least. Also be looking at a new head gasket

However, as you have no compresion in one cylinder at all, then that could be a more serious problem like the rings or a hole in a piston etc...
