never received BTEA

    I am currently claiming btea and basically I was never paid it today,I technically finished college last friday but am still registered as a fulltime student until after my exams in may,im just wondering if anybody else didnt receive payment as i wasnt expecting it to stop so suddenly without any notice and it has left me stuck for the week?

    Im currently on 1 week study week / 2 weeks easter holidays then we have our exams.

    Im also on BTEA but mine did go into my bank today.

    Id say your best bet is to call the social welfare office and talk to someone about your claim.

    I assume it's your first year getting it? I usually get paid on a Thursday but it went in yesterday instead this week. You should get a form sent to you from the SW soon to get filled out in college saying when you finish, you should just be able to go in and tell them what date your last exam is on and they'll put that down.

    I didn't receive my BETA either, but it was the Easter weekend.
    I get my payments on Friday, usually as soon as the clock strikes 00:00

    I should be getting a double payment now, as i have missed a week

    I am also finished with classes, but i have exams in may
