Wildcat?? comic? possible merged with Eagle ?

Knowing myself and my drunk fused retro reliving ramblings I've probably asked this before......

Anyone got links to a Comic that may have been called Wildcat ?

It was a glossy comic in the style of 2000AD.
At least one of the issues came with 3D red/green (not cyan) glasses to view the stories in the comic.

One of the Characters/Story Line was this ex-soldier who
was an amputee where someone tells him he can have his arm back with surgery if the hero works for them. When he awakes from surgery he finds his stump has only a metal attachment.....but he gets different things he can attach to his stump like a machine gun or an explosive fist etc etc.

He joins a team of others, one guy is a muscle bound hulk of a lad who is ultra strong who throws a bench press weight at our hero who catches it with one arm and lifts it.
Strong man muscle bound hulk is impressed and joins the team.

Another team member is a sexy woman who can take off the heel from her stiletto heels to use as a throwing knife at enemy's. They have their differences but go fighting bad guys.

Other strips included a story about a space ship Wildcat?? that gets sent from earth to other planet to save earth by looking for a planet to colonize maybe ?? there was a story about some friendly cute birds that keep getting attacked and killed by something and team wildcat go in and kill the enemy, but the cute birds now without a foe multiply and get nasty and attack the humans that helped them.

Later I know the comic may have merged with the likes
of Eagle comic or whatever comic had the Alien that sat in a floating saucer.

the ex soldier was a character called john storm, I believe he had is own magazine called storm force which then merged with eagle and wild cat, happy days. think there were other characters to were they not battling a bad guy who had control over spiders ????

Hi There
I remember that comic. the pilot edition i think was a free gift with the Eagle comic. I remember it was definatly 3D. It was about a starship called Wildcat commanded by some millionaire scientist who predicted the end of the world in an asteroid bombardment and when he was ridiculed, built the ship and crewed it with volunteers.

I always thought that Storm Force merged with the Battle comic to make "Battle Storm Force" much like it used to be "Battle Action Force"
