    Hi all,

I booked tickets through agent in uk ( for airfrance in december) two weeks back and yesterday I got to know that My wife is pregnant and due in and around those days when we are supposed to fly. which makes imposssible for us to fly. When I ask the travel agency (in uk) about changing the dates or possible refund she said its not possible. This means I will end up losing €2400. Which obviously I dont want to. :confused:Is there even any chance of getting the airport tax and other charges and they can keep the airfare part of the tickets. Has something similar happened to anyone and what possibly I could do in these circumstances (If any thing at all)...

    any help appreciated,

    Thanks,

    aspasp1

It will really depend on the fare rules, which you should have a copy of, or get a copy of from the agent. They will dictate what's what re: the fare.

Taxes and charges may be refundable, but whether there will be anything worth refunding after the airline and agency get a cut, is another matter.
