Going to get a Sony Vaio next week. I was looking for 4gb ram and the 320 hdd. Got a price of 650 for this but there's the same with just 3gb ram for 570.

Is the extra gb worth the 80 euro?

Ram alone being the difference - no.
Buy the cheaper one, and then buy 4GB elsewhere for a good bit less than 80, then sell the 3GB.

That's assuming you have a 64bit OS, and will use the 4GB.
if not then just get the cheaper one and don't bother replacing the ram.

Post up the full specs. If both are exactly the same bar the RAM buy the cheaper one. In all honesty you will not notice a difference between 3 and 4GB of RAM.

Buy a tablet and an upgradeable desktop. A setup I will not swear by.
