Hi Guys .I have just purchased Vu+duo.I have a DM 800 but then everything could be loaded from panel.
Loaded image ok(VTI) and have fta channels working, however I am lost about loading ccam.Have downloaded ccam 2.21 and have bin and script files and dont know how to load them.I know I have to use ftp and found on another site instruction: "ccam to /usr/bin
    script to /usr/camscript
    .cfg goes to /etc"

My downloaded file has script and bin but no cfg.
Its been more than 18 mths since I set up the DM800 and I have forgotten so much.....
    Thanks for some advice.

I use Vix 2.0 so i'm not sure if your image is the same but what I did was drop the bin file into /usr/softcams
and then use the softcam manager to set up the auto start
    didn't need the .cfg file

    Hi Red,
Which ccam file did you use?

Got it installed-more to good luck than anything else.

You're right there is a config file, cccam.cfg which goes into /etc
Was thinking of something else there :o
all you really need in here is your box key like below in order to open movies and sport assuming you are using your legitimate sky card otherwise you're good to go

Google NDS box key but i'd advise you to calculate it yourself instead of using an online calculator, you can do it with windows calculator instructions are online, I wont post it here just in case.

    BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 00 11 22 33

I think that will be the lower card slot or just use

    BOXKEY: /dev/sci1 00 11 22 33

    for the upper slot

MODS: this is only to use a legitimate paid for sky card with a 3rd party reciever it breaks the subscribers TOS but is not illegal.
