Hollywood Lakes

    Played in the open in Hollywood Lakes this morning. When I went to check in I didn't recognize the guy behind the desk. To my surprise, I was welcomed by a really pleasant happy person.

    I booked online through the Hollywood Lakes website and the price was listed as 15 euro each, which I think is a great price for a nice course. When I paid though, I was only charged 10 euro. I thought he had made a mistake, and said it to him, and he said that the open was 10 euro. Definitely a great bargain.

    And to top it off, the course was in great condition too!

    what did you make of the greens?

    I'm undecided if they are just difficult or crap? ie they break totally the opposite why to they way they should, well from they way I think they should

    I think the greens are pretty good, provided you know that the greens always break towards Ballyboughal :D.

    Some of the breaks look illogical, but I think a lot of it is an optical illusion.
