Haven't seen a thread on this one, I know the folks organising it from Greystones AC, so they sent me the following.
Reasons to Run 5K is open to men and women this year. Date is Sun 1st May. and start time is 12 noon, from Shoreline Leisure Centre, Greystones. Generous prize fund. Prizes to 1st 3 Jun/Sen, plus 1st male & female O35/40/45/50/55. Medal & t-shirt to all finishers and numerous Spot Prizes. Refreshments in Shoreline afterwards.
You can enter on-line through Run Ireland, post in a form or enter on the day. €20 for adults & €10 for juniors. Kids fun run, approx half mile, at 11.15, with medals for all finishers, cost €3.
Same course as before and we've marked it already. Starts between Shoreline & Rugby Club, turn on to cycle track on left side of dual carriageway, up to Sports Park, cross just above the roundabout, back to Superquinn, up around the Crescent and back to Shoreline.

I'll forward on any queries that come up.

Doing the Kildare marathon two weeks after and this would be a good race to get bit more speed into the legs. Hopefully will do a good time...thanks for the info..

Very good Race and well worth the trip to there. Its good to see its both male and female this year! Annoyingly I'm going to miss it as I'm away for the weekend, but would definitely do it for the great atmosphere alone if I could!

Really good, well organised race with mountains of food afterwards. Great to have another Wicklow feature on the running calendar.:)
