    Hi,

I'm hoping to travel from the Brussels area (I'll be staying in Leuven) to Eindhoven on Saturday the 30th July. I'm on a budget. I'm hoping to get a train or bus but I'm finding it very difficult to get any info online with regard to times/stations etc etc.

If anyone can offer some advice/info/websites on any of the above then that would be great.

    Thanks.

Best way, probably, is to go from Brussels(central or Midi) to Roosendaal (Holland) and from there to Eindhoven.
As far as i know there is no direct connection. Couldnt find it in any case.

Dutch rail road trip planner: http://www.9292.nl
    Belgian: http://www.b-europe.com/Reizen

Couldnt find a price for you, i guess it is too far in advance for the Belgians...

the 30th seems to be too far in advance, but if we go with the 16th (2 weeks earlier) we get loads of options in second class

Fare Departure Arrival Travel time Transfers
    € 33.00 06:27 08:59 02:32 2
    € 29.60 06:44 09:57 03:13 3
    € 33.00 07:27 09:59 02:32 2
    € 29.60 07:44 10:57 03:13 3
    € 33.00 08:27 10:59 02:32 2
    € 29.60 08:44 11:57 03:13 3

And that was just looking @ the morning

NsHispeed is the expensive option. And is not saving you much time from Brussels to Roosendaal.

Thanks very much both of you. The quoted prices don't seem too bad. I would be great to do go straight from Leuven and avoid Brussels. I think the '2' option outlined by MiCro sounds best. Price isn't as bad as I had feared. Cheers for that.

I think the Roosendaal option is faster.
The option via Luik (Liege) and Maastricht seems a long way around.

There is no need to change trains in Tilburg again, as long as you pick the Intercity from Roosendaal in stead of the stop train.

At the other hand, Maastricht is nice is if you have a few hours spare.
