    Hi,
I have a knee length navy shirt-style wrap dress with 3/4 length sleeves and collar, its a light cotton material (DVF style).I need to wear it to a wedding (am broke) but its too plain..I have just found a cute pair of wedges (navy polka dot wedges with straw heel) I think they will go well with the dress but my dilemma is what should the other accessories be?..
a shop assistant said gold jewellery would be good with the navy even with polka dot wedge...i have searched high and low for a bag to suit on Henry..am i to search for a bag with polka dots or not? or should i ditch the polka dot wedges?I am not in Dublin til next Thursday and wedding is on sat  I am clueless when it comes to accessorizing ..Any help would be greatly appreciated particularly when it comes to the bag?

    The shoes

I would stay stick with the wedges (love them!) and get a big pearl type necklace and bracelet. Get a white cardi and white bag. Nice and summery!

Keep the wedges, but don't get a polka dot bag.

If you've a bit of money, like 10 or 20 quid, you should be fine to get some accessories, but since it's a special occasion, I'm sure you've a friend or two that wouldn't mind raiding their wardrobe for what they think might suit you accessories-wise. Don't feel confined to gold. It looks great on some people, looks terrible on others, so just pick something you'd feel looks nice. Anything except for black will most likely be fine. If you want to tie in with your shoes you can use white or try to tie in the wedge (so straw colour or the aforementioned gold). My sister has a dress similar to what you've mentioned, but it's more dark blue rather than navy. She tends to wear a set of bangles that are a white/gold mix, it looks nice. I however can't seem to wear gold at all, it might be because I'm very pale. Definitely try to use a mix of colours in your accessories, but don't use any distracting patterning, as you already have polka dots. Most places that do bangles tend to do mixed coloured bunches, like the white/gold ones I mentioned.

As ElleEm mentioned, match your cardigan/shawl/jacket with your bag.
