I used the black one a few years ago and I hated it, I wore it in my hair one evening and anytime I touched my hair it was all coming off on my fingers, for the whole night I was terrified of people coming up and ruffling my hair :o

I didn't use it for root touch up, I wanted it as a dry shampoo type thing as I love the batiste stuff, the black colour did put a very coal black look on my roots but as I said it kept rubbing off

    Never tried Bumble's product.

I got a root touch up in terrisales - under €10.00

It does the job fine on the temple and parting line - easy to touch up/blend and says it only washes out with shampoo, not just water, important of you get caught in the rain

Like the bumble review, once in your hair, the texture is not the nicest, but if it gives you a couple of extra weeks witout colouring, it's worth it :)
