    Hi guys.

Is there any code that will change the resolution of a VB application to suit the resolution of a users monitor? Any help would be lifesaving :)

Have developed a small application in VB. The form fits fine on my laptop but on my desktop the resolution is different, seems all over the place. What i would like is for application to look same in all pcs regardless of resolution settings, i hear 800 x 600 is the norm. I could make forms smaller but would like to explore all options first.

Just to clarify the terminology, you don't change the resolution of an application, you change its dimensions. Now, without seeing the application I'm only guessing but it sounds like you've got your form running at full screen but with the different screen resolutions the controls are all stuck in one part of the screen on your desktop monitor.

What I would do is set the form to be a specific size and design your UI around that. If that's not possible and the form has to run in full screen then look into the Dock and Anchor properties of the form elements and you should be able to get them to resize themselves as required.
